" We used to catch Bunn's bus to Wells pictures Saturday afternoon
and be dropped off at the Buttlands,
then down to the Quay to buy broken crisps at a small shop next to what is now French's
The pictures would show the same film(s) all afternoon continuously
The evening would feature a late and an early show
There would be a higher admission charge in the evening and queueing to get in"

" I remember taking the Bunn's bus to Fakenham and having to get out at Barsham hill
as the bus couldn't get up the hill - we got out, walked and then got back on again"

Bunn's ran buses to Wells beach on sundays and excursions to Hunstanton and Cromer as well

They also took village chaps on Sunday evenings on what were termed 'mystery tours'
whereby they visited various local pubs before returning to the village
