(David Moore did not have the necessary qualifications to be a pharmacist,
unlike his father, so sold only non prescription medicines/goods etc
)


Bunn's garage and petrol pumps can be seen in the background -

the lack of locals suggests it is a week day.

In these two pictures you can see the original windows and doorframes.

Since then they have been changed, as the two houses were knocked into one property










The is a question as to what is the black object stuck under the
window on the house in the background,

suggestions are that it is a loudspeaker























The photo is from October 1930 and shows that telephones had reached the village

with a couple of not too discreet telegraph posts visible in the High street
